Safety Harness

Postby stonedzee1 » Wed Mar 05, 2014 11:25 am

Needing a new harness and was looking at Crow and RCI platinum. They both re- certify, was wondering what others are using.

RCI platinum in both the GTO & dragster. Love em. Make sure you save the card that comes in the box. That is required for the one re-cert.

Stroud cam locks.

Stopped using Simpson when they no longer would re-web their belts.

I've run the RCI Platinum, Simpson, and G-Force. The G-Force is the most comfortable, for what its worth.

I run the G-Force cam locks and love them. My buddy runs the RCI platinum stuff for a while now, but last Dec he sent them in to get his free re cert and it took over 45 days to get them back. He had to buy another set or miss a race do to the belts not coming back in time. Just some info to chew on.

Currently running Race-Quip, but have run RJS, and G-Force in the past. I buy the latch links new every 2 years instead of messing with re-certs.

DJ Safety here. They recertify their belts and if you turn in another brand of belts you get a credit toward their belts. I run the cam lock belt with black hardware. Can't beat them. I can price anything out from DJ you may need. Shoot me a PM.

I've been using the RCI Platinum. They just send new belts on the re-cert. Save the receipt and card.

RCI platinum here...Just got my free re-cert belts back today. Took right at 3 weeks to get them. It looks like they are a brand new set.

I went to a race at Bandimere in Denver and my badass Stroud cam locks were out of date by a month. They just HAPPEN to sell seat belts at the track and they wouldn't let me run unless I bought new ones. So right now my badass stroud cam locks are in the trailer, and I have some crappy buckle up Crow's in my car. Compared to the Strouds, I hate them.
